Day 2 - Vinyasa Yoga for Core Strength
Core Focus!
It's day 2...time for your YogaFix!
How many things would you attempt if you knew you couldn't fail?"
-Robert Frost
Wow! That is a great question. I know that fear of failure has kept me from putting my all into things in the past. Truth be told, if I knew I couldn't fail, I probably would have been a rock star!!
Your homework today is to practice a 5 minute meditation either sitting or laying down. Focus on your breath whenever your mind begins to wander, saying to yourself, "I am breathing in" on the inhale and, "I am breathing out" on the exhale. After you've completed 5 minutes (or more if you're feeling it), get a piece of paper and complete the following: "If I knew I couldn't possibly fail, I would..." Just write without censoring your thoughts...also known as stream of consciousness writing. You may be surprised at what you put down on your paper!
Today's affirmation is (from You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay), "I now choose to create a life that is joyful and abundant. I am at ease." Remember to repeat it in your mind or out loud 10 times or more today!

Lesley
Yoga Fix 30 - Day 4 - Vinyasa Flow to Strengthen Shoulders and Arms
Is it what you look at? Or what you see?
"Be careful how you interpret the world. It is like that"
-Eric Heller
Remember: you are the architect of your life. You're the author of your story and the director of your screenplay. You decide where to go, what to do, how to feel and most importantly, how to interpret to your circumstances.
It's day 4! Are you starting to feel the addiction take hold? I hope so! Here is today's affirmation. Remember to recite and/or write it at least 10 times:
"I am safe in the universe, and all life loves and supports me."
Additional "homework:" Meditate laying down or sitting up for 5 to 10 minutes and then write 3 pages of whatever comes to mind. Try not to censor yourself...

Lesley
Yoga Fix 30 - Day 19 - Vinyasa Flow Hip Openers and Bird of Paradise
What scares you?
"Always go with the choice that scares you the most because that's the one that's going to require the most from you."
Thank you for reading my email!! Yay, you're still here!!! I'm overjoyed that you're feeding your addiction...to yoga! Seriously, you're doing an amazing job of creating a healthy habit for your life. Keep up the great work!
Repeat today's affirmation at least 10 times. It's a powerful one...Louise Hay was such an amazing woman!! Here it is:
"I am important. I count. I now care for and nourish myself with love and with joy"
Additional "homework:" Take some time to daydream about a life beyond your wildest dreams...even if the idea of how to get there scares you. Focus on the awesomeness of your dream-life. Spending time there will help you to co-create it!
Love,
Lesley

Yoga Fix 30 - Day 22 - Vinyasa Flow for arms, back and balance
Life is but a dream
"Our truest life is when we are in dreams, awake"
-Henry David Thoreau
I'm so glad you opened my message today. Are you dreaming right now? Are you awake? Are you woke? How do you know for sure? Sometimes I wonder about reality...you know, in those times when I'm feeling super deep...lol. Seriously though. How do we really know for sure what is real. How much power do we have to shape our reality and to make our life into a living dream? I believe that we have a lot more power to co-create our lives than most of us know. Do you? Test it out and see!!
Practice your daily affirmation to help create your dream life:
"I know that Life always supports me."
Additional "homework:" I know that you wrote in your journal about things you want to accomplish however, give it another go today. The written word is powerful and visualizing is as well. Write down your interpretation of your dream life. Be as specific as you possible can and write it in the present tense as if it's already happening. Trust that what you're visualizing already exists for you...as if it's in your personal escrow account. Keep your attitude of gratitude and find plenty of things to be thankful for today and every day. Write a gratitude list of at least 2 things a day. Dream your life and live your dreams.
Love,
Lesley
PS Visualize yourself with me on a retreat or workshop!! I'll do the same because I'd love to see you!! Check out where I'll be here.
