Yoga Fix 30 - Day 13 - Total Body Vinyasa Flow
Practice and let go!
"The appearance of things changes according to the emotions and thus we see magic and beauty in them, while the magic and beauty are really in ourselves."
-Kahlil Gibran
Thank you for opening this message. I love that you're still participating in this 30-day program. Please, please, please do not worry if you're not doing it perfectly. If you miss a day, just continue as soon as you can. You many have heard me say, "just do your practice and let go of the results." In the Yoga Sutras, this is called "Abhyasa and Vairagya" Yoga is all about finding balance. We find balance in our physical bodies on the mat as we move through postures. We balance as we link our breath with our movement. We find the balance while generating heat in the body and then cooling it down. We must also remember to balance the mind by letting go of how we think things "should" be or what we think we should be able to achieve on our mats or in our lives. Just do your best. Don't you dare give up on yourself! Let the mysteries of yoga and life unfold as they will. Here is today's Louise Hay affirmation...it goes really well with Abhyasa and Vairagya:
"There is time and space for everything I need to do. I am at peace."
Additional "homework:" Get your journal out and write about something you were worried about recently and then how it resolved. Next, write about what your yoga practice was like when you first began and how it has evolved over time. What postures did you used to struggle with that have gotten easier? What are some things that you're struggling with now? How can you let go of the struggle? Finally, write down 10 things that you're grateful for.
Love,
Lesley

Yoga Fix 30 - Day 26 - Total Body Vinyasa Flow
You're so amazing!
"How we spend our days is , of course, how we spend our lives"
-Annie Dillard
Can you believe it's already day 26?!? I'm overjoyed that you're still here and still addicted to yoga! I hope you continue to feed your yoga addiction at the end of the 30 days. If you're a Patreon memeber, you can continue with me for another week at http://www.patron.com/fightmasteryoga where I'll be adding 7 brand new classes that will only be available to members. And if not, I have lots of yoga videos on YouTube that you can do! Keep up the momentum!!
Remember, repeat each day's affirmation at least 10 times out loud if you can, or in your mind if there are people around (I totally get it!). Here it is:
"I am open and receptive to all the good and abundance in the Universe. Thank you Life."
Additional "homework:" Spend 15 to 20 minutes visualizing your dream life as if it's reality. Be as clear and specific about it as possible. Have fun with it!!!
Love,
Lesley
PS All of our quotes during this program are from Diana Christianson's "Love Big Journal. It's a beautiful collection of inspirational quotes coupled with ideas to think and write about. If you're interested in picking up your own copy, you can find it here on Amazon.
Yoga Fix 30 - Day 29 - Vinyasa Flow Hip Openers
Party Tricks!
"Happiness is available. Please help yourself to it."
-Thich Nhat Hanh
Can you believe it's already day 29?!? Where did the time go? I'm so proud of you for being here and continuing to get your yoga fix as well as continuing to read these messages! Today's class includes lots of twists, hip openers and arm balances. It moves quickly so please push the pause button to practice any of the arm balances more. If these poses are difficult for you, you're not alone! These are challenge poses and although they can be fun, they're no measurement of how how good of a person you are! LOL So, remember, if you can't get into the arm balances, it doesn't matter at all...they're good party tricks, but not a measure of how "advanced" your yoga practice is by any means!
Enjoy and practice today's affirmation:
"I live in a loving, abundant, harmonious universe and I am grateful."
Additional "homework:" Speaking of gratitude, it seems to be a great day to write a gratitude list! Write down at least 10 things that you're grateful for. Then write down 10 more things that you're grateful for that you've been visualizing bringing into your life. When you write them down, make sure to write them in the present tense as if they are already a reality. Our subconscious minds don't know the difference between reality and what we're manifesting, so this is a great way for your dreams to become real!
Love,
Lesley
