Yoga Fix 30 - Day 23 - More Core
Strong Body, Strong Mind
"People from India have a saying, 'Everything will be all right in the end. If it's not all right, it is not the end."
-Patel (From the film, "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel")
As we enter our last full week of YogaFix30, take a moment to pause and notice how you feel. Are you feeling stronger? I'm sure your body is getting physically stronger and even if you don't notice it, have you noticed less pain in your joints and/or back? As our bodies become stronger, there's more muscular support and less pain. What about your mental strength? Have you found it any easier to quiet your thoughts? Many people have been commenting that they feel so much more peaceful and that they're sleeping better. Some report that they're experiencing less anxiety and depression. These are all benefits of your yoga addiction! I'm so glad you're still here and I want you to take a moment to congratulate yourself on continuing to show up for yourself! This affirmation will continue to strengthen your mind...remember to repeat it:
"My thoughts flow freely and easily. I move through ideas with ease."
Additional "homework:" Remember, our thoughts create our reality. The more we can remove fear and doubt from our thought process, the better. Tonight, before falling asleep, take 5 minutes to focus on your heart's desire. Make your wish your mantra. Create a clear picture in your mind of what you want to bring into your life and create a clear intention of it so that your subconscious can "go to work" on it while you're sleeping!
Love,
Lesley

You can pledge any monthly amount that you can afford and you'll have access to everything there. I'm sooooo grateful to our Patreon supporters because without them, Fightmaster Yoga probably couldn't continue. Thank you all so much!! xoxo
Yoga Fix 30 - Day 25 - HIIT Class with Balance
Sometimes we fall but we can always get back up
"We are but visitors on this planet. We are here for ninety or one hundred years at the very most. During that period, we must try to do something good, something useful with our lives. If you contribute to other people's happiness, you will find the true goal, the true meaning of life."
-The Dali Lama
Today's HIIT class reminded me that life isn't always perfect. Sometimes we might fall out of balance poses (like I did several times in today's video), sometimes we might try to accomplish something and fail, sometimes we might succeed. That is life. If everything was always easy and perfect, how would we grow and become better people? If there isn't any pain, we don't appreciate joy and comfort. It's important to remember that sometimes things are difficult, but if we keep going and do our best, we'll be led to where we're needed. This affirmation is helpful for that:
"I easily flow with change. My life is divinely guided and I am always going in the best direction."
Additional "homework:" Come up with something that you can do to make someone happy. Since our time is limited (as the Dali Lama reminds us in today's quote), begin to brainstorm and write down things that you can do to contribute to other people's happiness. And then, take some action! It can be anything...something small is a wonderful way to start. You'll feel great!

Lesley
